Downgate new build, Small garden

This was a new build project on an awkward shaped sloping plot. The brief was to provide a low maintenance interesting and versatile garden.

The space is organised and controlled by a stone retaining wall, creating two patio areas for relaxing, with another raised patio to accommodate family dining. A pond with a built in waterfall provides a focal point within the garden and viewed from the kitchen window. Oak tops on the low walls provide lots of informal seating.
